Backwards Compatibility

In Redo, members of the club are in their “redone” forms, which they have obtained by ignoring reality and undoing past regrets.

Their true selves are secret forms only the player can deal with.
Tread carefully and choose actions that will leave no regrets…

CHARACTER STORIES:
In the world of Redo, Go-Home Club members are in their “redone” forms – manifestations of past regrets that have been undone. Each member is trapped in a situation dreadful enough to cause them to turn away from reality.

What happened to them? And why are they trying so hard to return to that painful reality? These are only some of the mysteries the player must unravel.

There is a chance you may find the members’ true selves unacceptable. So tread carefully and choose actions that will leave no regrets…

Game Features

  • Chain combos in the battle system while predicting the future!
  • The battled system is turn-based. Once an action is selected, you can peer into the future and see what it looks like successfully executed. Use this ability wisely to coordinate attacks with allies or cover them during bad situations.
  • When certain conditions are met in battle, a χ-Jack is activated, in which χ’s singing voice hijacks the battlefield and powers up the Go-Home Club.
  • The effects differ according to the song chosen. This move is powerful enough to completely turn the tide of battle. Develop χ’s abilities to improve the effects of a χ-Jack.​
  • Use WIRE’s group chat function to discuss club goals or ask allies questions on private chat.
  • You may be surprised by what you can learn from their replies.​ Some special questions can only be obtained with high affinity or via quests.
  • Even residents of the ideal world Redo have minor gripes and problems to contend with.​ Perhaps these stem from their true selves or personal relationships in reality…?
  • Complete quests from townsfolk to gather more information and uncover hidden truths.​

FAQ: Resolving typical errors for Resident Evil 2

Q: My game stucks with a black screen or crashes a few seconds after the launch

Make sure you have the following software installed:

Go to BIOS settings and disable any virtualization options you find in there.

You may also reboot, sometimes it helps to run the game.

Q: My game crashes a lot with shaders error
  • Turn on borderless window mode inside the game
  • Switch to DirectX 12 mode from DirectX 11 or vice versa
  • Set all graphics settings to the minimum and then turn them on one by one until the game starts to crash again
Q: My game is very dark
  • If you’re on NVIDIA GPU – uninstall video driver and install an older one from 3**.* family

  • NEW ONLINE MODE: RACE OF THE WEEK: Enjoy a new challenge each week, competing against players from all over the world as you try to reach the top of the leaderboard! The controllable team and objectives – e.g. win the overall classification, score more points in mountain stages – differ based on the race.
  • NEW RACE INCIDENTS: You can now choose to enable or disable race incidents and their consequences. If you enable them (for yourself and your opponents or just your opponents), you can choose their frequency and enable or disable their consequences, which vary depending on the incident’s severity: loss of power for a short or long duration, or even withdrawal. Be prepared to adapt because your strategy might need to be completely re-evaluated at any moment.
  • NEW RACE PREPARATION: To add more unpredictability to races, a new preparation system has been added.
