  • You will be challenged by more than 66 unique feelings (each with a different effect), along with poverty and other wordly troubles. Hundreds of cards represent the complex psyche of your artist’s mind, and life in Nova Oportunia, the city known as the capital of contemporary art.
  • All these artistic, amusing, horrible or lustful details of life are represented as lovingly painted cards that can be combined, collected, talked or thought about, visited, read or interacted and so on, resulting in a vast diversity of results, creating new cards and new opportunities of interaction. The creation of this game was inspired by a cult classic of similar format, but different vibes.
  • Life of the artist is not easy. Poverty, physical ailments, sanity loss and other challenges regularly result in permadeath (a variety of permadeaths, beginning with dying to disease and ending with drinking oneself to death), followed by a tactful overview of your life (often miserable, addiction-fuelled, yet passionate) and legacy.
  • During your life, unpleasant feelings will evolve from bad to worse if not dealt with. You will have to battle conditions like frustration, anxiety, anger, guilt, sadness, suicidal thoughts, and multitudes of other issues, including habits, addictions and temptations of various kind.
  • As an artist, you can paint your sufferings into spectacular masterpieces, or counter them with pleasant feelings such as love, pure delight or peace. If all else fails, you can always seek solace in the Bar Avenue establishments, hoping to drown the bleak thoughts in drink or more exotic soothments. Roguelite fans may enjoy the iron person mode. The game is illustrated by both human and AI artists, and includes 2275 unique tech-generated oil paintings (refrenced on historic 19th century art, which is in the public domain, for everyone to use freely). These illustrate the paintings you create and the thousands of little stories that make up every run.
  • You may win numerous minor victories and a selection of grand victories. To win the grand victory, you must create a painting that will change the world.
  • As your life evolves, unravels and expands in Nova Oportunia, life-changing secrets, ideas and experiences reach you. These can be thought about, developed, and in time, turned into the paintings that will change the world for thousands or millions of people, leaving a truly majestic legacy of your life.

STORY:
Flat Eye’s narrative centers around the exploration of emergent technologies through the stories of returning customers.

Not everyone that enters your station will be of importance – this is where “Premium Customers” come in. These “premium” characters will only appear once a specific set of modules are available for use in your station. Each of these customers has been profiled by the station’s AI as those who will have an important request that once explored, could have rippling effects on the future of humanity.

As the station’s manager, your job will be to listen to the needs of the “Premium Customers” and make decisions on behalf of humanity. It’s a tough job, but you don’t get paid minimum wage for nothing!

GAMEPLAY:
Flat Eye is a perfectly balanced blend of management simulation and narrative-driven gameplay. As the manager of the world’s premier gas and technological hub, it’s your job to keep your station running smoothly, complete daily objectives tasked by the world’s first true AI, and develop new technology to improve (or curse) the future of humanity.

Explore a vast tech tree to discover and install new modules into your station to entice “Premium Customers”. Each of these characters will bring with them a new and eye-opening narrative for you to interact with and influence.

Each day you will need to report your store’s earnings and rating to the world’s first AI (and subsequently, the owner of Flat Eye and its parent company). A word of caution – don’t disappoint them.

  • Welcome the Graveyard! This brand new Quick Room satisfies your inmates’ needs for Freedom and Comfort, making them feel calmer for 12 hours. Be mindful when you add gravestones though, as they will easily interrupt this peaceful atmosphere…
  • The Rise of the Dead: In Undead, no one is safe. And there are many ways to become Infected. One inmate can get sick, some others can be bitten by an unfriendly undead, or again a bunch of infected inmates can rise (aka spawn) directly from the Graveyard. Wardens have no power over the Infected units, they will move and act independently in the prison until stopped. Inmates and guards can try and fight them off, but if they fail, they will join the deadly bunch!
  • Who You Gonna Call? Bounty Hunters! When things go south (because they will) and your prison can’t hold off the outbreak, call the Bounty Hunter Emergency Service: tough, trained bounty hunters will join your fight against the undead.

Game Description
The Allies are approaching from the west, but at the same time, the Soviets are coming from the east. None of the soldiers remember the taste of victory. Fear and chaos dominate on the front lines. The General Staff is beginning to disintegrate, and for many, the fate of the war is already sealed. Some commanders give retreat orders. However, those who are still fighting will not surrender until the end of the war. You just got only one chance to construct a wunderwaffe. Welcome to the base!

Game Features

  • A self-sufficient, huge, underground complex that is an epic fortress that cannot exist without you. Therefore, be smart! Build your base wisely, manage and develop it. Remember, you are creating a weapon so powerful that you can influence the fate of the war.
  • The network of underground corridors and special-purpose rooms must function efficiently. Get water and electricity to them. Mine resources, break codes, develop the technology tree, and cooperate with spies. Construct and produce weapons and inventions. This is what your soldiers are waiting for! Control the march of hostile troops and gain time to complete the project. Recruit into your ranks the best scientists, spies, and agents who will provide you with key information. In Project Wunderwaffe, you will build a weapon the world has not heard of yet!
  • The invention of the atomic bomb is only a small part of what you can do in your research centers. Make your every invention wreak havoc. The range of possibilities for creating weapons of final victory is extremely wide. Invisible land vehicles, super missiles, or Die Glocke. Find out in Project Wunderwaffe what your production lines can do.
  • Building a wunderwaffe requires efficient database management, as well as acquiring and allocating raw materials and resources. Your project is constantly in danger, so fend off attacks and act in a way that allows you to gain as much time as possible to complete wunderwaffe. Remember, every choice matters. Each of your decisions will have consequences. Use propaganda mechanisms, arouse fear and terrify with the possibilities of the superweapon you are working on.
  • Your base is perfectly hidden underground, but you need to be vigilant. Your enemies’ intelligence is awake. It will do anything to find and destroy you. When an anti-aircraft alarm sounds in your base, panic breaks out and a ruthless fight for survival. Attempts at bribing officers, sabotage, and attacks on raw materials are only some of the challenges you will face. Always be ready, stay in control of the situation and make sure that your base is in fully operational and combat readiness. Your enemy is awaiting your mistake!

  • Icthyology & Entomology: Looking for something to do? Then spend a quiet morning at the various fishing spots around the world of Hokko and build your fishing collection. Fish have unique habits, and require different craftable bait, so you’ll need to vary your approach from one fishing spot to the next. Then, spend the lazy afternoon in Hokko with a net in hand, catching and collecting the critters fluttering and scuttling about the town! You’ll find a whole range of insects for you to catch and build your collection!
