Story

In a parallel world where the Earth is made of blocks, evil has befallen the otherwise peaceful planet.

Led by Dark Tyrant, several Motherships suddenly attacked the planet, shattering the Earth into pieces.

The Earth has been attacked by the Invaders, Ravagers, and Aggressors before…but the brave EDF soldiers have always joined together to defend the planet from these threats.

With the Earth shattered, EDF soldiers continue fighting on each of their pieces of the planet. But with no way to reach each other to deliver aid or food supplies, the planet remains in despair.

You must assume the role of Commander of the EDF and fight back. Find the EDF soldiers fighting around the planet, and begin a counteroffensive. Only a powerful team assembled by you can save our square Earth.

Game Features

  • A New Fight on a Square Earth: A new EDF adventure begins! Only this time, the action unfolds in a parallel world where the Earth is made of digital blocks. This world has befallen into chaos, as the once peaceful square Earth has been shattered into pieces. Shape aside, it is an Earth nonetheless which needs to be defended. It is now up to the EDF to restore peace to the square planet.
  • Assemble Your Own Team: The Earth has been shattered into pieces. EDF soldiers are fighting desperately on their own in various countries around the world. Rescue these soldiers to have them join you, and assemble your own unique team. Each mission can be attempted with up to 4 teammates. Switch among your teammates as you go, making use of each character’s unique traits which shall prove useful in battle at different times.
  • Recruit Soldiers from Past EDF Games: Block versions of characters from every previous EDF release, from EDF1 (“Monster Attack”) to “Earth Defense Force 5,” and even the EDF spinoff releases, appear in the game. Also featured are a wide range of weapons and vehicles from past EDF releases. Series veterans will enjoy seeing these familiar characters and weapons, while those new to the series have the opportunity to be introduced to its rich history for the first time.
  • Familiar Enemies: Enemies that invaded the Earth before make an appearance in this game, this time in block form.
  • Online Co-Op: This game supports up to 4-player online co-op, with each player joining the battle using their own team.

Install English Voiceovers!

TL;DR – You must install English voiceovers in any scenario!

Playtests showed that deeper inside the game (~one hour in) there is a place, where the game tries to load audio from English pack, as the base one, instead of other locale you’ve chosen. Which leads to crash if you don’t have English voiceovers installed. So to bypass that error, you have to install English pack along with your language. Sorry for inconvenience.

The thrill of the hunt runs through the blood of the clan and it is ritual for the trophies seized to be worn proudly and displayed for all to take notice. The hides of 5 exclusive beasts; a wolf, bear, boar, fox and badger are fit to be worn by any warrior and shall act as an emblazoned warning to the gods that the hunt is indeed on. The Hunter’s Head Gear is assigned at random in each new game playthrough.

Game Description
/Vam.pi.re.m/ – a “royal” breed of undead mage with multiple Sires creating his bloodline, using a unique vampiric ability to extract and absorb the power and essence from the fragmented hearts of fallen kindred.

Raven, a vampirem of which two Sires have been recently destroyed by a Shadowhunter, is forced to hide in the shadows of the moonlight or burn due to a weakened imbalance coursing within his black veins, all while searching for a path to regain his power or seek revenge against the hunters who stole it.

Another story of Bloodlust, this time told through the eyes of Ravenblood; part Ghost… part Vampire… and 100% bada$$. His journey in search of lost strength and revenge will take you through the dark tombs and dungeons of the Vampirem.

No false walls when battling bosses
Never confined, Raven is always allowed to hide, move or warp around this entire dark landscape, looking for vantage points, health, blood stones and loot during confrontations. He even has the ability to stay hidden in the shadows, avoiding certain situations until he’s ready to deal with them.

Work smart rather than hard
Given the ability to use the environment to your advantage such as collapsing pillars, shooting down hanging barrels or detonating pots of garlic. Finding weakness in enemies can make your journey in this un-dead world much easier.

Inventory that’s more than just storage
Arrange elemental stones to form powerful synergies to gain passive boosts on your weapon. How you decide to arrange can alter the boost significantly.

Solving cryptic puzzles
Created and used by the ancients to deter thieves, devious puzzles guard the tombs of the fallen. Choosing to unlock these tombs can help Raven gain the gifts of the dead, giving him a major advantage against the hunters.

This dark journey never ends
Although the story eventually comes to an end, the journey for power never does. Allowing Raven to level up forever with no level cap. Choose to fight ever increasing harder enemies, as you move deeper into the darkness of the Vampirem’s lair.

Game Description
